The Team Annie Rose Foundation was founded in 2013 by the Robinson family after daughter Annie was diagnosed with, and beat, acute lymphocytic leukemia in 1997. Its mission is to raise awareness and money for research of blood borne cancers and help other families in the state of Tennessee.
This past May, the foundation held its 9th annual Poker Run at Bavarian Bierhaus in Nashville. “We had a total of 60 cars, most of which included a passenger,” says Dr. Ross Robinson, Annie’s dad and president of the foundation. The Run raised over $50,000, and through the years, has brought in a total of $201,000.
“It’s the main way we raise money to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,” he says. Along with other fundraisers, the foundation has raised a total of $368,000 since 2012
The Team Annie Rose Foundation is focused on creating opportunities, fostering hope, and generating resources to find a cure for blood cancers by facilitating community support and awareness to help children and adults in need.

The culmination of the Team Annie Rose Foundation's fund raising efforts is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk event in Nashville.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk brings light to the darkness of cancer by funding lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer. Family, friends and co-workers gather together to celebrate, honor or remember those touched by cancer. Registration is free, but walkers are encouraged to raise funds to support the mission. These efforts culminate in inspirational, memorable evening experiences filled with music, fireworks and empowering ceremonies honoring survivors and remembering those we have lost. Please join us and nearly 1M others in the 140 walks across North America.
