The Team Annie Rose Foundation focuses on raising money for blood cancer research and supporting blood cancer patients and families throughout Middle Tennessee.
The foundation also supports Davis House Child Advocacy Center and continues its annual Play-Doh drive for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Blood Cancer Research & Support
Team Annie Rose proudly supports Blood Cancer United, formerly known as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Blood Cancer United is dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers. It is the world’s largest voluntary nonprofit health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.

Since 1949, the organization has invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches. It works tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need.

When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis, Blood Cancer United provides hope, compassion, education and support while continuing to make an impact throughout the cancer community.
Advancing Blood Cancer Treatment
Blood Cancer United funds leading-edge research for every type of blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other rare blood cancers.
As the largest nonprofit funder of cutting-edge blood cancer research to advance cures, the organization’s investments have led to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving patients’ lives.

Blood Cancer United helped advance 34 of the 39 blood cancer treatment options approved by the FDA in 2017 and 2018.

Through its fundraising efforts, the Team Annie Rose Foundation will continue supporting blood cancer research and helping blood cancer patients and families throughout Middle Tennessee.
Davis House Child Advocacy Center
Beginning this year and continuing in the years ahead, Annie wants to donate at least 25% of the money raised by the Team Annie Rose Foundation to Davis House Child Advocacy Center in Williamson County.

Davis House helps children who have experienced abuse and supports their families through incredibly difficult times. This cause is deeply personal to Annie and her family, who have long supported the center and its important work.
​
Annie has chosen to support Davis House out of love for her sister and a desire to help other children and families. The center receives only about 10% of its annual budget from state or federal support.
​
Through this part of its mission, Team Annie Rose hopes to raise funds for Davis House while bringing greater awareness and education to a subject that many people find difficult to discuss or acknowledge.
Annual Play-Doh Drive for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital
When Annie was hospitalized or receiving chemotherapy at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, she loved playing with Play-Doh. Many of the other children undergoing treatment loved it too.
​
About six or seven years ago, Annie’s family learned from the head of the Child Life Specialist team that the hospital ran out of Play-Doh in early fall every year. Annie’s mother, Jill, had the idea to organize a Play-Doh drive, collect donations and deliver them to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
​
Since then, the family has held a Play-Doh collection every year and donated more than 100,000 containers. In recent years, the hospital has had Play-Doh available throughout the entire year.
